Collecting Dust

For a couple of months at the start of 2025. I painted a lot. A completely abstract painting is still something. During this time, I noticed that paintings were just placed on a shelf and were collecting dust.

After some time, I set up a schedule to post the photos of the paintings to my socials (Facebook/Instagram). I carefully calculated how long I can keep posting if I post on specific days of the week, more often, or rarely. I had enough photos to secure posting power for a couple of months, or the whole year if I posted one per week. Still, as we all have the desire to eat that forbidden fruit, I started posting much more regularly and gained momentum that lasted only for a month or two.

I noticed that paintings evoke many topics and feelings, with some people enjoying some more than others. When I changed abstract ideas into something less abstract, I got more interaction, after which I made a specific painting called "So You Better Like Realism Over Abstractism," which gained more interaction. For most of the paintings, I added background music, either to support the painted story or to add a cultural feel of the kind of music I enjoy. Most of the painting names were created at the moment of publication.

Somewhere at the end of spring I run out of photos to publish. At the same time I again started to look towards electronic music creation as I had times when the topic felt interesting in the past. With all of this together, I decided to refresh my COVID-19-era music compositions and publish them on Spotify.

Momentum was gone. After a while, I got an idea to offer my paintings to someone who may like them. The idea appeared living and store was born.
